Latus is our wide body 7-inch platform designed for simplicity and versatility. 
 
Latus offers a unique take on a "mini" cinelifter frame, whilst also providing great features for long-range applications (e.g. dual battery mounting for redundancy).  The wide platform provides ample space for accessories whilst also providing a suitable platform for carrying compact cameras and small cinema cameras, such as the Blackmagic Pocket 4K.
 
The frame is designed for two orientations to suit your preferences, in either forward or reverse dead-cat style, with alternative arm mounting options also available.  It is also possible to run inverted motor and prop setup (aka pusher). 
 
The arms are constructed from high quality 5mm carbon fibre, with the body manufactured from 3mm carbon fibre, reinforced with aluminium standoffs. This provides excellent stifness across the main body of the frame.
 
Customers will also be able to access the drawings and STL files for the top plate in order to develop specific accessory mounts to suit your build requirements.  The top plate is also designed to accommodate a DAC universal camera mount.
